About us

MyPathologyReport is a free, physician-written resource created to help patients better understand their pathology reports. These reports often contain unfamiliar medical language that can be confusing or overwhelming. Our goal is to make that information clearer and easier to understand so that patients can feel more informed, empowered, and engaged in their care.

All of our articles are written and reviewed by licensed pathologists—medical doctors who specialize in diagnosing diseases by examining tissue samples under a microscope. The articles are based on real pathology reports and reflect the most current classification systems and medical guidelines. Whether you’re reading your report for the first time or looking for more information about a diagnosis, MyPathologyReport.ca is here to support you.

We believe that every patient has the right to access and understand their health information. That’s why we’ve built a site that is accurate, easy to read, and free of charge. From definitions of medical terms to full-length articles that explain common pathology diagnoses, our growing library is designed to meet the needs of patients, families, and caregivers.

Our mission

Our mission is to improve health literacy by making complex medical information accessible to everyone. By helping patients understand the content of their pathology reports, we hope to:

  • Promote patient-centered care through education and transparency.

Our team
